Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Prep Mobility, a mobile app and related services provided by Edition Ventures Ltd, company number 17100663, registered in England and Wales ("Edition Ventures", "Prep Mobility", "we", "us", or "our"). In the app, we may also refer to Prep Mobility as "Prep".

By using Prep Mobility, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Prep Mobility is

Prep Mobility is a movement, mobility, warm-up, cool-down, recovery, and prehab-style routine app. It may include exercise routines, timers, illustrations, saved routines, chat-based coaching features, voice dictation, and AI-assisted routine suggestions.

Prep Mobility is not a medical device, healthcare provider, physiotherapy service, diagnosis tool, or emergency service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or professional clinical care.

Who can use Prep Mobility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Prep Mobility. If you are under 18, you should use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from the bill payer or your parent or guardian, to buy a subscription.

Health and safety

You are responsible for deciding whether any movement, exercise, routine, or suggestion is appropriate for you.

Before using Prep Mobility, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, pain, recent surgery, pregnancy, dizziness, heart condition, neurological symptoms, or any concern about exercise, you should speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness, unusual shortness of breath, chest pain, weakness, loss of balance, or any other symptom that concerns you. Seek medical help where appropriate.

Do not use Prep Mobility for emergencies, acute injuries, severe pain, unexplained symptoms, or conditions requiring professional care.

AI Coach and automated suggestions

Prep Mobility may use automated, algorithmic, or AI-assisted features to suggest routines, exercises, explanations, or next steps. These outputs are for general information and movement support only.

AI-generated or automated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable for your circumstances, or based on limited information. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, physiotherapist, sports therapist, or other qualified professional.

You should not rely on AI Coach for diagnosis, treatment, injury assessment, medical decision-making, or urgent situations. You remain responsible for checking whether a suggestion is safe and suitable before following it.

Accounts

You may need an account to use Prep Mobility. You can sign in using supported methods such as Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email address.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused, compromised, used unlawfully, or used in breach of these Terms.

Subscriptions, trials, billing, and cancellation

Prep Mobility is a paid subscription app unless we make specific free features available.

Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple's terms, payment rules, cancellation process, and refund process apply to those transactions.

Your subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.

If a free trial or introductory offer is available, the app and App Store purchase flow will show the relevant price, duration, renewal period, and renewal amount before purchase.

We do not control Apple's billing systems or refund decisions. To request a refund for an App Store purchase, you should use Apple's refund process. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

We may change subscription prices or plans in the future. Where required, Apple or we will notify you before changes apply.

Your content and inputs

You may provide information such as chat messages, dictation transcripts, goals, sport preferences, body areas, routine preferences, saved routines, notes, and other inputs ("User Content").

You keep ownership of your User Content. You give us permission to use, process, transmit, store, display, and adapt your User Content only as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide Prep Mobility.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, threatening, infringing, misleading, or that violates another person's rights.

Do not submit medical records or sensitive information unless it is necessary for your use of the app and you are comfortable sharing it under our Privacy Policy.

Prep Mobility content and intellectual property

Prep Mobility, including its app, code, design, brand, text, illustrations, exercise library, routine structure, explanations, databases, and other content, is owned by Edition Ventures Ltd or our licensors.

We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use Prep Mobility in accordance with these Terms.

You must not copy, sell, licence, scrape, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, extract, or build a competing product using Prep Mobility or its content, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from doing ordinary human movements or exercises outside the app. We do not claim ownership over generic exercise concepts.

Acceptable use

You must not:

use Prep Mobility for unlawful, harmful, or commercial purposes;
interfere with, overload, or attack our systems;
bypass subscriptions, entitlement checks, limits, or security controls;
scrape, harvest, or bulk-download app content or data;
reverse engineer the app or backend services;
share paid content outside your personal use;
impersonate another person;
upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access.

Third-party services

Prep Mobility may rely on third-party services for app distribution, sign-in, subscriptions, hosting, storage, AI processing, transcription, crash reporting, and other functionality. These may include Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat, OpenAI or another model provider, Railway, and other infrastructure providers.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, where it is processed, and your rights.

Because Prep Mobility may involve body-area, injury, movement, or health-adjacent information, you should read the Privacy Policy carefully before using chat, dictation, or personalisation features.

Changes to Prep Mobility

We may update, improve, remove, suspend, or change parts of Prep Mobility from time to time.

If we make a material change to these Terms, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by updating the in-app terms, changing the "Last updated" date, or presenting the updated terms in the app.

If you continue using Prep Mobility after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using Prep Mobility at any time. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription; you must cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, create legal or security risk, or if we need to do so to protect Prep Mobility, other users, or our systems.

Disclaimers

Prep Mobility is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not promise that Prep Mobility will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for every person, or that every routine or suggestion will be appropriate for your circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, including rights that apply to digital content or services under UK consumer law.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, losses caused by your failure to follow safety guidance, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or business losses where you use Prep Mobility for commercial purposes.

Prep Mobility is for personal, non-commercial use.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live in the United Kingdom, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. If you live outside the United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence may also apply.
